Apartment Fire at Glenbrook in Greenville 

MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (01/09/15) – KenCo News spoke with Greenville Fire Chief Jerry Aders and the Kentucky State Fire Marshall this morning regarding an apartment fire that took place at Glennbrook Apartments in Greenvillein the early morning hours.

According to Chief Aders, the fire was reported sometime around 5:00 AM in Apartment building 7, Apartment E, on the second floor of the building.

The Chief went on to state that at this time he believed that no one was home at the time of the fire, but there were people living in the apartment. There were no injuries.

The apartment below the fire-struck apartment received considerable water damage.

As for the cause of the fire, the Fire Marshall and Chief Aders stated that they will be speaking to the Manager and letting them speak with the insurance company before investigating too deeply into the source.

The Greenville Fire Department was assisted on the scene by the Central City Fire Department, Graham Fire Department and Drakesboro Fire Department.
