KenCo News Partners with J&H Bakery in Appreciation of Local Law Officers

KenCo Representative Dana Shutt Delivering Doughnuts to Law Offices

MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (01/09/15) – Yesterday, KenCo News announced that today, Friday, Dec. 9, 2015, was the Kentucky State Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. On this day, KenCo News and J&H Bakery came together in honor of our local officers.

J&H Bakery in Greenville, located at 408 North Main Street, donated doughnuts for the Greenville Police Department, Central City Police Department, Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office and Powderly Police Department. KenCo News Director J.L. Graham and Sales Representative Dana Shutt (pictured in the above photo) met up in the early morning hours and delivered the doughnuts to various local law enforcement agencies.

“It was a true honor to visit and gift our officers today,” said J.L. “If our general public had any idea what these men and women had to deal with in their lives as officers, everyone would give them a hug when they saw them. We, as breaking news providers, have seen what they see, and we know the price they pay. They give all for us, our community.”

“Today is a day I was truly blessed and honored to stand before our Kentucky Law Enforcement,” said Mrs. Shutt. “The sacrifice and dedication these officers exhibit on a daily basis is truly inspiring. Knowing they are on the job around the clock, keeping families safe, it makes me feel confident and secure.”

The entire staff of KenCo News takes this moment to salute our local law enforcement. You do so much to keep our people safe. We sincerely thank you.

A special thanks to J&H Bakery for donating the gifts for these officers. For decades J&H has served our community with top quality doughnuts and baked goods.
