MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (01/21/15) – The Muhlenberg Job Corps Center would like to recognize Mrs. Teresa Brewer as Employee of the Month for December 2014.

Mrs. Brewer currently works as Lead Cook in the Center’s cafeteria. Brewer is being recognized because of her duly noted work ethic. During a period of being short staffed in the department, she repeatedly volunteered to work double shifts and perform various duties to meet the needs of the Center. She took on additional job responsibilities while also handling her Lead Cook responsibilities, doing it all effortlessly with a smile.

Brewers’ supervisor, Larry King-Davis says “no matter how difficult the task may be, you can always turn to her for assistance.”

When asked what her favorite thing is about working at the Muhlenberg Job Corps she said, “I enjoy having the opportunity to make a difference in the students’ lives and being a positive role model for them.”

Brewer has helped prepare and serve over 14,000 meals to students during her nineteen year tenure.

Horizons Youth Services, staff and students of the Muhlenberg Job Corps Center cheer Congrats to Teresa Brewer!
