Two-vehicle Collision at Intersection in Central City

MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (01/21/15) – An accident occurred today, Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015, at around 1:38 PM at the Everly Brothers Boulevard intersection, near McDonalds and the Marathon gas station.

Once on the scene, reporters found that a yellow Chevy Cavalier operated by a female and a grey Buick Century operated by a male had collided at the intersection.

Central City Police and Fire Department officials stated that the Cavalier had been traveling westbound on the boulevard. At the same time, the Buick was traveling eastbound on the same roadway. Officers deduced that the Buick turned at the intersection and the Chevy collided with it.

Officers stated that there might be injuries, but they were suspected to be minor at the time of the investigation into the accident.

The scene was worked by the Central City Fire Department, Central City Police Department and Muhlenberg County EMS.

The vehicles were removed from the scene by Harvey Family Towing and Repair and Vincent’s Auto Transport.
