Violation of Emergency Protection Order Results in Stolen Vehicle Arrest 

WESTERN Ky. (02/06/2015) – The Russellville Police Department has released information on a case regarding a vehicle stolen from the Bowling Green Area found in Russellville.

Police officials state that on Feb. 4, 2015, Russellville police officials investigated a complaint at 226 Cole Road, in reference to an Emergency Protection Order/Domestic Violence Order (EPO/DVO) violation.

Priscilla Bruton had advised officers that she believed that her husband was at her neighbors residence, which was a violation of the EPO/DVO. Once on the scene, Officers found a vehicle located at 228 Cole Road with a license plate that came back to a vehicle reported stolen from the Bowling Green area.

Bryan Bruton was found inside the residence and arrested.

Bruton was charged with EPO/DVO Violation and Receiving Stolen Property under $10,000. He was lodged in the Logan County Detention Center. Officials state that Bruton will also be facing charges from the Bowling Green Police Department for Theft of a Motor Vehicle.

Officer Chris Bellar and Sgt. Mike Reeser were the Investigating officers in the case.
