WEATHER ALERT - Round 2 of Snow Heading Your Way

WESTERN Ky. (02/17/2015) – After getting slammed by one of the most severe snow storms in the area throughout the past few years, we are now looking at a secondary storm.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory that will go into effect at 4 PM today, lasting until 9 AM tomorrow (Wednesday). According to weather officials, the snow will move west to east, producing 1-2 more inches of snow for the entire region. It will begin in Missouri and sweep eastward.

Officials warn that the new snow, on top of the current snow, will have a major negative impact on local roadways, producing fresh coatings of snow and continuous danger driving conditions.

Some drifting of snow will be occurring.

KenCo News will keep you updated as further information is released.
