 Two Arrested in Separate Drug Cases in Greenville

MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (03/02/15) – The Greenville Police Department has released information regarding two individuals arrested on drug charges, stemming from two different cases.

Greenville Police Officials have stated that on Feb. 24, 2015, the Greenville Police Department partnered with Kentucky State Police in regards to a report of subjects smoking marijuana in an apartment on Robinwood Drive with a juvenile present.

Officials say that once Officers were on the scene, they detected the odor of marijuana smoke in the apartment as Derek Randolph opened the door. After obtaining a search warrant, both Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia were found inside the apartment. There was also a 3-year-old child in the apartment.

Randolph was charged with Trafficking Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor.

On that same day, Greenville Police responded to a complaint of a potential meth lab at a residence on South Main Street. Once on the scene, officers located a meth lab, along with several other items that are used in the manufacturing of meth.

Mashika Nannie was arrested on charges of Manufacturing Meth 1st Offense and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

The Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office and Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force assisted with the investigation.
