 Man Found with Drugs After 91 MPH Driving on Parkway

WESTERN Ky. (03/16/2015) – The Kentucky State Police has reported a drug-related arrest that resulted from a traffic stop due to speeding.

State Police officials say that a Trooper spotted a 1995 Toyota Corolla driving down William Natcher Parkway at approximately 91 MPH. The Trooper pulled the vehicle over at the 56 mile marker.

The driver, Jordan Lewis, was found to be under the influence at the time.

Troopers investigated further and found that Lewis was in possession of around 2 grams of Meth.

Lewis was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine), Drug Paraphernalia - Buy/Possess, Operating Motor Vehicle Under Influence of Alcohol/Drugs, 1st Offense, Failure to Produce Insurance Card and Speeding 21 MPH Over Limit (Limited Access).

Lewis was lodged in the Ohio County Detention Center.
