Sheriff’s Office K-9 Gets Bullet Proof Vest

MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (03/17/15) – A local business has stepped forward to help keep the Muhlenberg K-9 Unit, a dog named Manny, safe during potentially dangerous investigations.

Sheriff’s Office officials have stated that Jordan’s Barber Shop, located in Greenville, provided Manny with a ballistic vest. Manny is a German Shepherd that plays a vital role in locating illegal drugs in our community.

Sheriff’s Office stated that Manny’s work is obviously dangerous and the Sheriff’s Office was delighted when Dwight and Judy Jordan offered to provide a new bullet proof vest for Manny.

The Jordans are pictured with Manny, Deputy Will Ward and Sheriff Curtis McGehee.
