Inmate Stabbed at Kentucky Prison 

KENTUCKY (03/19/15) - An inmate at Kentucky State Penitentiary in Eddyville was stabbed by another inmate late Tuesday.

Michael Brown, 22, was on the prison yard when he was stabbed by Terry King multiple times.

Brown was given immediate medical attention at the prison and then transported to Baptist Hospital. King was placed in segregation at the prison.

Brown is serving a five-year sentence for Sexual Abuse, 1st Degree out of Meade County. King, 36, is serving a 40-year sentence out of Daviess County for Sodomy 1st Degree, Sexual Abuse 1st Degree, and other charges.

The assault is under investigation by the Kentucky State Police and criminal charges are pending the outcome of that investigation. Administrative charges will also be filed as a result of the incident.
