SLIDESHOW COVERAGE -Fun Filled Evening at the Bremen Elementary School Health Fair

MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (03/26/15) – The parking lot at Bremen Elementary was full of vehicles on Thursday, March 26, at 5:30 PM as the school hosted a health fair for Bremen area students.

KenCo News spoke with Bremen Elementary Family Resource Center Coordinator Carla Embry regarding the details of the event.

“We have family fun night every month, and we base it on grade level,” said Mrs. Embry, “Due to the recent snow, we’re combining fourth and fifth grade. It’s an informative night. We invite all families to come and support their children and learn a little and have fun too."

The health fair had various booths set up in the school gymnasium, each one focusing on some aspect of health and fitness. The school also had a “bouncy castle” set up at the event to make it even more fun for the children.

The organizations with booths at the event were the Central City Convention Center (Wellness Center), Baptist Health, Madisonville Community College, the UK Cooperative Extension Office, Pennyroyal Center, Community Health Centers of Western Kentucky, and Delta Project.

Below you will find a slide show of families and organizations enjoying a fun and educational evening at Bremen Elementary School.
