Nortonville Residents Arrested on Drug Trafficking Charges 

KENTUCKY  (04/09/2015) – A joint investigation held by the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office and the Madisonville Police Department has led to the arrest of two Nortonville residents on various drug charges.

Madisonville Police Department officials state that there had been several confidential and anonymous tips regarding potential drug activity at 21 East Walnut Street in Nortonville. As a result of the multiple tips, a search warrant was obtained on Wednesday of this week.

At 12:45 PM on Wednesday a search warrant was executed at the residence. During the search, Detectives located a large quantity of paraphernalia and a white crystallized substance that field-tested positive for Meth.

Two residents of the home, 50-year-old Crystal Goode and 25-year-old Travis Collins, were arrested on charges of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Officers state that the investigation is currently still ongoing and that more charges are expected in this case in the near future.
