Three Juveniles and One Adult Arrested for School Vandalism 

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky.  (04/13/2015) – The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department has performed a vandalism investigation that led to the arrest of one local adult and charges against three juveniles.

On April 6, 2015, the Sheriff’s Office received a complaint regarding vandalism at Earlington Elementary School. An investigation revealed that one air conditioner had been set on fire and a concrete block had been thrown through a gymnasium window.

The next day, April 7, Officials were informed that someone had used spray paint on the front of the school.

Once the investigation was complete, officers found that one adult and three juveniles were responsible for the vandalism acts.

Nineteen-year-old Bryer Gibson, a resident of Earlington, was charged with Criminal Mischief 1st Degree and three counts of Unlawful Transaction with a Minor 3rd Degree. Gibson was lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.

The three juveniles were charged with Criminal Mischief 1st Degree and released to a legal guardian.
