Muhlenberg Public Invited to Victorian Tea Party 


MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (04/15/15) – The Muhlenberg County Public Libraries has announced a fun-filled event coming to the area on May 2, 2015.

Amie Waltrip, Thistle Cottage Branch Archivist, informed Reporters of the upcoming annual Spring Victorian Tea Party to held at Thistle Cottage.

Mrs. Waltrip stated that this years’ tea party features food, music, entertainment by author Linda Hawkins and a contest for the best hat.

There are two seating opportunities at 1 and 4 p.m. Seating is very limited, so buy tickets early! Tickets are $10 each and may be purchased at Thistle Cottage (located at 122 South Cherry Street in Greenville) during normal business hours beginning Monday, April 13.

The Spring Victorian Tea is a popular event that many look forward to all year long. This year’s event promises to be a fun, elegant event for the whole family. Bring your friends and family; wear your Sunday best (and your best, most creative hat!)!

The Spring Victorian Tea is co-sponsored by Muhlenberg County Public Libraries, the Greenville Tourism Commission and Friends of the Library.
