Ribbon Cutting Held for Sunshine Garden Center

MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (04/17/15) – For many years, Sunshine Garden Center has been a vital resource for local citizens on a variety of outdoor related resources. Many assumed that when Uncle Lees closed down, Sunshine Garden Center would go with it, as they were both property of Lee Fauntleroy.

Fortunately, local citizen and business owner Chris Vincent stepped forward, discussed the concept of Sunshine Garden Center with Mr. Fauntleroy after the closing, and inevitably took over the business.

Today, April 17, 2015, the Greater Muhlenberg Chamber of Commerce showed its’ support for Sunshine Garden Center with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Chris Vincent is a native of the Central City area and has lived within the boundaries of Muhlenberg County for his entire life.

KenCo News would like to congratulate Chris and his family on this new business venture and we urge local citizens to swing by and check it out.

Sunshine Garden Center is still located in the same area as before, with parking in the former Uncle Lee’s parking lot.
