Two Arrested for Meth, Prescription Drugs, and Hallucinogenic Mushroom  

KENTUCKY  (05/11/2015) – The Madisonville Police Department has reported two arrests as a result of a search warrant.

Police officials state that the Madisonville Police Department and Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office joint Vice/Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant today, Monday, May 11, 2015, at a residence located at 228 Lawrence Street in Madisonville.

As officers searched the residence, they located Prescription Drugs, Meth, Synthetic Drugs and an illegal Hallucinogenic Mushroom Spawn. Also found in the home was a substantial amount of cash and drug paraphernalia commonly utilized by drug users and traffickers.

Officers and Detectives arrested 28-year-old Dakota Scott and 32-year-old Heather Wyatt as a result of the search.

Both were charged with Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree/1st Offense (Meth), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Degree (Prescription Pills), Possession of Synthetic Drugs and Trafficking in Controlled Substance (Hallucinogenic Mushrooms).

Both Scott and Wyatt were ledged in the Hopkins County Jail as the investigation continues.
