 Vehicle Flips Over Multiple Times in Graham Area

KENTUCKY (05/26/15) – The Kentucky State Police investigated a single vehicle, injury collision that occurred on KY 175, in Graham, on Tuesday, May 26, at 12:55 p.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Megan Hayes, 19, Graham, was operating a 2003 Dodge Neon northbound on KY 175 when her vehicle dropped off the right shoulder of the roadway. She overcorrected and lost control. The vehicle crossed both lanes of travel and exited the left shoulder of the roadway. It struck an earth embankment and overturned several times. The vehicle struck a tree and came to rest upright, off the roadway.

Ms. Hayes, who was wearing a seatbelt, was transported via ambulance to Baptist Health Madisonville for treatment.

There were no passengers.

Trooper First Class Craig Engler investigated the collision.

Trooper First Class Jerrod Hearld, the Graham Volunteer Fire Department, the Greenville Fire Department, and Muhlenberg County EMS assisted at the scene.
