Meth Lab Discovered behind Home on HWY 176 

KENTUCKY (06/01/15) – Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office officials have discovered a meth lab hidden behind a home on Friday, May 29, 2015.

Sheriff’s Office officials state that Deputies were assisting a financial institution with repossession at 6545 state route 176, when a suspected meth lab was discovered behind the residence.

After an investigation at the scene,by Detective Troy Gibson from the Sheriff 's Office /Pennyroyal Narcotics Task force, 32 year Joshua Martin was arrested and charged with trafficking controlled substance first degree methamphetamine.

Martin has been lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center and more charges are expected to come from this investigation.

Contaminates from the meth lab were removed from the scene by the Task force and Kentucky State Police.
