 Multiple Injuries in Traffic Accident on Charleston Road

KENTUCKY (06/10/15) – On Tuesday, June 9, 2015, the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office investigated an accident that took place on Charleston Road at approximately 2:20 PM.

Officials state that James Harper was in his vehicle on Charleston Road, awaiting for traffic to clear before making a left turn onto Fox Road. During the time that Harper’s vehicle was stopped, Donna Gibson pulled up behind him. Seconds later, a truck operated by Jimmy Sherrill rear-ended Gibson’s vehicle, forcing it to rear-end Harper’s vehicle.

As a result of the accident, Sherill and all the passengers in Gibson’s vehicle were transported to Baptist Health for potential injuries.

Sgt. LyDon Logan was the investigating officer in this case.
