Local Teen Angel Needs your Loving Help

KENTUCKY (06/19/15) – Last year, KenCo News had the honor of meeting a local Muhlenberg County teen that developed a ministry that has touched the lives of thousands of citizens.

Her name is Morgan Davis, and at the age of 13 she founded a ministry called “Mission 13”, wherein she collects food, drinks, and more for citizens that are suffering through times of hardship. Now, one year later, Morgan is still working diligently for those in need, and for God.

Currently Morgan is taking donations to provide water for the Nashville Rescue Mission (NRM), an organization that provides for homeless and hurt individuals, giving them hope for the future. Not only does Morgan help those at NRM, but she also helps local citizens.

Recently, Morgan heard about a local man who had no food and no power in his home. The minute she heard of this, she jumped up and began gathering supplies for him. She played a major role in getting this Muhlenberg County citizen back on his feet.

Knowing what all this young lady does to help those in need, KenCo News would like to urge local citizens to help in her current goal of gathering a large amount of bottled water to deliver to those in need. If you would like to help this local angel in her goal for helping citizens suffering through hardships, you can donate bottled water or make financial donations. Call Mission 13 at 270-977-1301, or you may contact them through the Mission 13 Facebook page.

Morgan has found that one person can make a huge difference in the lives of others, but a team of local citizens that serve God can make an even larger difference. Help this young angel.
