Local Woman Arrested on charges of Prostitution 

HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky.(07/14/15) – Police officials have reported an arrest in regards to prostitution charges.

Madisonville Police Department officials state that on July 8, Detectives with the Madisonville/Hopkins County VICE Unit investigated a tip stating that a female in Hopkins County was utilizing the internet to solicit prostitution. The tip included a phone number that was traced to 25-year-old Emma Miller of Dawson Springs.

A further search of the website mentioned in the tip, as well as other similar sites, revealed that Miller had placed ads on the internet on various websites.

During the investigation, Miller met with undercover detectives and agreed to perform sex acts in exchange for cash.

Miller was also found to be in the possession of Marijuana at the time of the investigation.

As the investigation continued, the Hopkins County Attorney’s Office was contacted and an arrest warrant was issued.

Emma Miller was arrested on July 13, 2015, and lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center of charges of Prostitution and Possession of Marijuana.
