 Three Injured in Greenville Traffic Accident

GREENVILLE, Ky. (07/22/15) – The Greenville Police Department has reported an accident involving a Central City woman and a Drakesboro man.

According to police officials, Greenville Police responded to a two vehicle wreck with injuries at the intersection of KY 189 Bypass and the 189 Connector.

An investigation of the accident revealed that Doris Smith, 68, of Central City, was operating a 2008 Kia Rondo. Smith was attempting to make a left turn from 189 Connector onto KY 189 Bypass and struck a 1999 Ford F150 truck, traveling south on the Bypass, driven by Michael Casbier, 58, of Drakesboro.

Smith and a passenger were transported to Muhlenberg Community Hospital ER by ambulance.

Casbier was transported to Muhlenberg Community Hospital ER by private vehicle.

The Greenville Fire Department, KSP Commercial Vehicle Enforcement and Muhlenberg EMS also responded to the scene.
