TRAFFIC ALERT – Closure on KY 800 on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 

CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. (8/18/2014) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to close a section of KY 800 in Christian County on Tuesday, August 19, 2014.

This closure of KY 800/Crofton-Fruit Hill Road near the 8 mile marker is to allow a cross drain to be replaced.

This closure is east of Crofton near the intersection with Macedonia Loop. KY 800 will close to through traffic at approximately 8:00 a.m., CDT.

It is expected to reopen around 3:00 p.m. There will be no marked detour. Passenger vehicle traffic may self-detour via Macedonia Loop. However, trucks should seek an approved state route.
