Two Out-of-County Individuals Arrested in Muhlenberg on Meth Charges 

MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (9/9/2014) – The Muhlenberg County Sheriff’s Office has reported the arrest of two individuals from outside the county as a result of an ongoing investigation.

According to Sheriff’s Office officials, Sheriff’s Detective Troy Gibson, assigned to the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force, has been involved in an investigation that resulted in the arrest of 21-year-old Jason Fryar of Madisonville and 27-year-old Justin Baldwin of Providence.

On Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, an arrest warrant was executed on Fryar. On Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014, another arrest warrant was executed on Baldwin.

Both individuals were charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Meth).

At the time the warrants were executed, Fryar was already arrested on other charges. Baldwin was lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.

During the investigation, Detective Gibson was assisted by Sheriff Curtis McGehee, the Greenville Police Department and Kentucky State Police.
