Two-Vehicle Accident with Injuries at South Main and Main in Greenville 


MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (9/18/2014) – At around 4:45 PM today, Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, Greenville Police Officer Tommy Crick responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident in downtown Greenville.

KenCo News was on the scene as tow trucks removed a white van and a gray passenger vehicle from the scene of the accident.

Officer Crick informed reporters that the passenger car had been driving across South Main when the van approached the intersection. The driver of the van stated that she had attempted to stop, but the brakes had failed full performance. The van hit the passenger side door of the passenger car.

Three individuals were injured, one in the passenger vehicle and two in the van. The passenger in the van was an 8-year-old child.

Officer Crick stated that it did not appear that any of the injuries were serious.

Harvey Family Towing and Harvey Towing removed the vehicles from the scene.

Officer Crick was assisted on-scene by EMS and the Greenville Fire Department.
