Paradise FNRA Banquet Brings in around $20,000 for Local Youth Sports 


 

MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (9/30/2014) – On Saturday, Sept. 27, the Paradise Friends of National Rifle Association (FNRA) held their annual banquet auction for local citizens.

Over 100 individuals attended the event where many items were raffled off and auctioned off, with all proceeds going towards local youth sport shooting events and groups, such as Boy Scouts, 4H, and many more.

According to Paradise spokesman Jarrod Douglas, after expenses were deducted, approximately $20,000 was brought in to support local sports.

Jeanie Bullock did the catering and provided a fantastic meal.

During the event, a Gun Safe Raffle was announced, that is still currently underway until October 21, 2014. In this rifle a Cannon 24 Gun Safe will be raffled off, with six guns inside. The guns inside are a Mossberg Night Train 308, a Ruger SR1911, a Springfield XD45, a Walther PPX 9mm, a Citadel 1911-22 LR, and a Winchester SXP 12 gauge. Raffle tickets are available from any paradise committee member.
