WESTERN KY (10/03/16) -A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to close a section of KY 262/West Center Street at the west edge of Madisonville in HOPKINS County starting Monday, October 10, 2016.
KY 262/West Center Street in Madisonville will be closed at mile point 2.747 to allow construction of a new bridge over Greasey Creek. This is along KY 262/West Center Street between Bean Cemetery Road and Buckingham Place, just east of the Sports Complex entrance.
The roadway at this site is expected to close at 7:00 a.m., CDT, on Monday, October 10th. There will be a marked detour.
Scott & Murphy, Inc., is the prime contractor on this $890,576 bridge replacement project. The target completion date is December 1, 2016.
