FEMALE ARRESTED AT DAYS INN IN MADISONVILLE ON METH CHARGES
WESTERN KY (10/06/16) -The Kentucky State Police has reported the arrest of a local woman in regards to various drug charges on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2016.
At approximately 12:57 P.M., Trooper Jon McGehee and Detective Jonathan Murphy made contact with Stephanie J McLain at the Days Inn in Madisonville. Mrs. McLain was being sought for active warrants through Hopkins County District and Circuit Courts.
After making contact with Mrs. McLain, 41, of St. Charles, she was found to be in possession of numerous bags of methamphetamine, marijuana, and items commonly used to ingest and distribute controlled substances.
A handgun was also located inside the motel room.
The active warrants were served and Mrs. McLain was lodged at the Hopkins County Detention Center.
Beyond the warrants served, McLain was also charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (1st Degree, 1st Offense, Over Two Grams Methamphetamine, Firearm Enhanced) and Possession of Marijuana.
Detectives from the Madisonville/Hopkins County Narcotics Unit assisted at the scene.
