Accident with Injuries at top of Town Hill in Greenville 


 

MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (10/10/2014) – Local first responders were dispatched to the scene of a two-vehicle accident with injuries on South Main Street in Greenville, near Trowbridge Street.

At around 3:50 PM today, October 10, 2014, officials were on the scene of the accident. Greenville Police Department officers informed reporters on the scene that a Hyundai Elantra driven by a male had come to a stop in the southbound lane on Main in preparation to turn into his driveway.

At the same time, a Nissan Altima had topped the hill, in the same lane, traveling southbound as well. The Altima collided with the rear of the Elantra.

Greenville Police officials stated that the driver of the Elantra was transported to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment of possible neck injuries. No other injuries were reported.

The Greenville Police Department was assisted on the scene by the Greenville Fire Department and Muhlenberg EMS.

The Altima was removed from the scene by Quality Towing. The other vehicle was removed by family of the owner.
