SHOTS FIRED COMPLAINT RESULTS IN WHITE PLAINS DRUG ARREST
WESTERN KY (10/12/16) - The Kentucky State Police arrested a local citizen on October 11, 2016, at 3:19 P.M. in regards to a complaint issued shortly before.
Kentucky State Police officials state that Trooper Jon McGehee responded to a home on Drakes Creek Road in White Plains to investigate a shots fired complaint. Upon arriving at the residence, Trooper McGehee observed Joshua Massey, 19 of White Plains, pulling into the residence on a minibike. Mr. Massey stated that he did not have a valid Operator’s License.
Suspecting that Mr. Massey was under the influence, Trooper McGehee conducted a series of field sobriety test. After doing so, Mr. Massey was placed under arrest.
In Mr. Massey’s possession was located a bag of methamphetamine.
Massey was lodged at the Hopkins County Detention Center on charges of No Operator’s License, Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence 1st Offense (Aggravated Circumstances) and Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense Methamphetamine.
