WESTERN KY (10/17/16) -As a result of a recent shooting investigation in the Hopkinsville area, an arrest has been made in Tennessee on charges of murder.

Officials state that 22 year old Dorien E. Meullion was taken into police custody at 5:30 pm at a home on Polly Drive, Clarksville, TN by members of the Hopkinsville-Christian County Drug and Violent Crime Strike Force, Hopkinsville Police Department, and Clarksville Police Department.

Meullion was wanted for his alleged involvement in the shooting death of 24 year old Tarone Kiaire Williams, which occurred on Saturday, October 15th in the parking lot of the Marathon gas station located at 605 East 9th Street, Hopkinsville.

Meullion was lodged in the Montgomery County Jail awaiting extradition back to Kentucky.

The Hopkinsville Police Department stated that they would like to thank the Clarksville Police Department for their assistance in this arrest.
