GREENVILLE ANNOUNCES HALLOWEEN CANDY CRAWL

WESTERN KY (10/24/16) -The Greenville Tourism Commission has released the following information regarding the 2016 Halloween Candy Crawl.

Candy! Halloween! Yay! Come to downtown Greenville on Monday, October 31st from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm for a special Halloween celebration, the “Candy Crawl!”

This event will feature fun Halloween décor, giveaways and of course candy! The Muhlenberg County Public Library will be on hand giving away coloring books and crayons along with Vicki Yonts and SOAR who will be providing free books while supplies last. These booths along with many other candy distribution stations will be lining Veterans Plaza creating a special “Candy Crawl!”

Additionally, some downtown store fronts may also have a few treats for folks passing by! Most activities will be focused on the plaza.

“We hope everyone will visit Greenville for a fun-filled afternoon of Halloween fun,” said Greenville Tourism Commission spokesperson Beth Newman.

Also, the Greenville Tourism Commission requested that local businesses be made aware of the following…

Are you a business in Greenville that’s not located in downtown, but would still like to be a part of the Candy Crawl? Good news! You can and are encouraged to do so! Just give the Greenville Tourism Commission a call and we will be happy to provide you a place on the plaza for candy distribution, activity or giveaway. Candy distribution is not required. Use your imagination, the sky is the limit on what you could do.
