Husband Stabs Wife in Greenville

MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (12/2/13) – On Monday, December 2, Greenville Police and other first Responders were dispatched to the scene of a reported act of violence on Hopkinsville Street in Greenville.


     According to Greenville Police Officer Wes Miller, Jeff Warner and wife, Tina, had left the Greenville Courthouse, Tina following Jeff with their children in Jeff’s vehicle. At some point, the Warner’s pulled over beside the road. The children then ran to Tina’s vehicle. At that point, Jeff Warner exited his vehicle wielding a large kitchen knife. Mr. Warner then reportedly stabbed Ms. Warner in the neck.


     At that point, Tina Warner fled the scene, running down the street with the children. Jeff Warner proceeded to chase them.


     According to Officer Miller, witnesses stopped Mr. Warner and held him at gunpoint until officers arrived.


     Ms. Warner was transported to Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Officer Miller stated that she was released from the hospital later in the evening, but was unsure if she was transferred to another hospital or actually released.


     Officer Miller was first on the scene and arrested Mr. Warner on charges of Assault First Degree (Domestic Violence).
