Ohio County Man Missing

MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (12/23/2014) – The Kentucky State Police has issued a statement saying that Wavy H. Sandefur has been located in Georgia. He was found safe and the Golden Alert has been cancelled.

The Kentucky State Police has issued a Golden Alert for a missing Ohio County resident.

KSP officials state that 75-year-old Wavy H. Sandefur, who goes by the name “Dub”, was last seen leaving his home in Ohio County on Monday. Mr. Sandefur left his home without his wallet, cell phone, and various other belongings. He suffers from Dementia.

Sandefur’s general location is unknown at this time, but it is believed that he may be headed towards Fort Myers, Florida or Paducah, KY.

Sandefur is a white male, 5’8, weighing approximately 185 pounds with brown eyes and gray hair.
